How about office hours 2-4 days per week? Starting between 07:30 and 08:00 to miss the school traffic?A typical week would be working 2-3 days per week in a commercial kitchen in North Northamptonshire, finishing between 15:00 and 17:00 - job & finish! For events, you could be in Cambridge, Bedford, Northampton, Buckingham, Central London.... these shifts can vary from 7 hour days to 13 hour days depending on the function or event.You could work Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday inclusive, depending on business needs. But you'll almost always have 2 days off together.You'll likely work around 45-50 hours per week, less outside of peak.The salary:This is going to be negotiable depending on you as a professional Chef and what you can bring in terms of speed, ability, fresh produce experience, food trend knowledge, technical skills, knife skills, allergens and food safety know how etc.If you are a Commis Chef with 6-12 months experience, you'll likely start on c.£26k per annum. If you are an experienced Chef De Partie or Sous Chef, your salary will start at c.£35k per annum.
