HR Manager – Part-time, permanentShaftsbury, Dorset | Fully site-based | 16 hours per week | FTE circa £36,000 pro rataExperienced HR professional looking for a flexible part-time role in the Dorset area?We’re delighted to be partnering on a retained exclusive basis with First Milk, a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative and certified B Corp, to appoint their next part-time HR Manager / Senior HR Advisor. You’ll thrive here if you enjoy helping others grow in a site that is lively, friendly, and fast-paced.What you’ll get involved inCoaching and supporting line managers to become confident people leadersGuiding ER cases including absence, disciplinary and grievanceLeading/coordinating recruitment activity (approx. 6–7 hires per month plus seasonal temps)Acting as the approachable first point of contact for colleagues on siteSupporting HR cycles such as pay review, bonus and PDRsHelping embed simple, effective HR practices across the siteContributing to policy application and harmonisation across First MilkWhy this role16 hours per week with flexibility on how the hours are workedFully site-based role, with plenty of variety and visibility across the businessGreat mix of coaching and hands-on HR, making a real impact with managersA family-feel organisation that’s also evolving and modernising its people practicesSupportive, down-to-earth HR team who work hard but don’t take themselves too seriouslyCompetitive package including pension, bonus and private medical coverWhat you’ll bringHR experience at HR Manager level, or as a Senior HR Advisor ready to step upStrong knowledge of employee relations and recruitmentConfidence coaching and influencing managersExperience in a busy, fast-paced environment (manufacturing or FMCG helpful but not essential)Solid employment law knowledge; CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience preferredResilience, patience and comfort with being the first point of contact on siteInterested?Apply now or drop me a note for a confidential chat and I’ll share more about the team, the interview process and what success looks like in the first few months.
