This is an excellent opportunity for a driven legal professional to play a key role in progressing cases, with clear prospects for career advancement within a supportive and collaborative working environment.Were looking for someone experienced in civil litigation and with a good understanding of financial mis-selling cases. Youll be responsible for managing a caseload of claims, including matters that are litigated, and contributing to the development of junior staff when necessary.Required Skills and ExperienceQualified Solicitor (England & Wales)Proven experience handling civil litigation caseSound understanding of financial mis-selling compensation claimsStrong working knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) or consumer credit/financial services lawDemonstrated ability to manage caseloads effectivelyReliable, efficient and organised in your approach to workExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProfessional and courteous at all timeStrong time management and interpersonal skillsComfortable working independently and collaborativelyProficient in IT systems including Adobe, Word and Excel Desirable (but not essential)Previous experience with group litigation or omnibus claimsFamiliarity with the latest developments in PCP/car finance commission claims and FCA regulationsExperience mentoring or training junior legal staff in litigation procedures and CPRKey ResponsibilitiesHandling PCP/car finance commission mis-selling claimsManaging client details and case files using our case management systemsProgressing claims from initial instruction to final resolution, including litigated mattersDrafting and submitting complaints to FCA-regulated firms, brokers, FOS, and FSCS, and issuing legal proceedings as neededManaging the full litigation process including drafting pleadings, track allocation, witness statements, disclosure, and trial preparation (bundling, briefing Counsel, etc.)Providing training and guidance to junior staff and paralegalsBenefitsAt Proximo Legal Services, we are proud holders of the Investors in People GOLD accreditation and members of the Inclusive Employers Group.
