Tiered pay grades offered to cater for a wide range of experience and skill levels.The job:To build specialised machinery, within established build times, carrying out fitting and assembly.Follow planned operations to completion at prescribed production rates to meet customer delivery schedule in accordance with Company H&S and Quality PoliciesFit and assemble Mechanical components exposed to motors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Collaborate with colleagues and provide training if required.Must have relevant mechanical fitting experience. Able to carry out tests and work from technical drawings. Servicing and repairing clients equipment, from heavy plant machinery to other general mechanical work.Skills:Mechanical fitter experienceBasic metalwork functions, drilling, tapping and machiningAbility to work to a high level of qualityMust have good attendance record and excellent time-keepingAble to work in safe manner in line with the companys Health & Safety policiesCompetent in reading engineering drawingsAbout you:Formal apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.Competent and Experienced Fitter with solid background in Engineering.Ideally have an understanding/knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings.Upskilling and cross-functional development via grading schemeFurther Education opportunitiesIf you are an experienced Mechanical Fitter and commutable to Rochdale, please send your CV to James at The Recruitment Fix Ltd for more informationTPBN1_UKTJ
