About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join one of our key M&E subcontractor clients team on a high value, secure government project in Suffolk. This role is with a growing M&E subcontractor delivering full electrical services on a major new-build prison development. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the mechanical services package from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring all work is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage all Electrical installation works Oversee subcontractors, engineers, and site teams to ensure programme and quality targets are achieved. Work closely with the M&E Project Director and client-side teams to coordinate all mechanical activities. Manage project budgets, forecasts, and progress reporting. Ensure compliance with all H&S, security, and quality procedures, particularly within the high-security environment. Attend and lead progress meetings, liaising with design, commercial, and site management teams. Requirements: Proven experience as a Electrical Project Manager on large-scale M&E or building services projects (10m+ M&E value preferred). Ideally experience in high-security or public sector projects (e.g., prisons, hospitals, MOD, custodial facilities) advantageous. Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services. Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications essential.
