As an Interaction Designer, you'll work at the heart of an agile, multidisciplinary team to design user-centred digital services that are simple, accessible, and effective. You'll turn complex government processes into intuitive, seamless user journeys to make services that work for everyone.Ready to apply Before you do, make sure to read all the details pertaining to this job in the description below.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with user researchers, content designers, and service designers to translate insights into design solutions.Create wireframes, prototypes, and design patterns that meet GOV.UK Design System standards.Advocate for accessibility, inclusivity, and evidence-based design decisions.Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics, and testing results.Contribute to design critiques, share best practices, and help shape design standards across the organisation.Key Requirements and SkillsActive Security Check (SC) clearance (essential)Proven experience designing digital products or services within large or complex organisations (government experience desirable)Strong knowledge of user-centred design, accessibility, and interaction patternsAbility to prototype and communicate design ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiencesFamiliarity with agile delivery environments and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teamsReasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
