P6 Planner Client: BAE Systems Duration: 12 Months Location: Barrow in Furness Hourly Rate: 40 PAYE or 53.90 (Umbrella inside IR35 ~ 398 pd) Working Arrangements: 37 Hours per week hybrid Clearance Level: BPSS + SC + UK EYES ONLY Skills Ability to engage and influence cross-functional teams and recognise and positively interact with stakeholders Ability to work independently, in compliance with all procedures and to recognise appropriate escalation scenarios Application of Schedule Risk Analysis including identification, methods of analysis and recommendations for management Comprehensive and demonstrable Project Controls experience with proven expertise in bid phase and complex engineering development projects Expert user in P6 Scheduling Tool Proven collaboration, communication, planning, problem-solving, decision-making skills Experience in Defence, Security, and Aerospace sectors. Candidates who already have SC are preferred. The Job Develop, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Primavera P6. Provide accurate planning data to support programme decision-making and delivery. Analyse progress, performance, and forecasts, and produce regular reports for stakeholders. Identify risks, issues, and opportunities within the schedule and propose mitigation strategies. Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned with project objectives. Managing the PM&C processes of a small project, or a part of a larger, more complex project, (such as a particular work package), or will support a Project Manager with aspects of managing PM&C on a larger project. Supervise or guide one or two professional staff and be involved in managing their delivery and performance and providing appraisal and support to their development. Adapt and apply PM&C practices in different circumstances, to develop these practices and to guide and instruct others in their application.
