Welder Location: Daventry, United Kingdom Salary: 27,000 - 31,000 per annum Full-time | Permanent I'm currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturer supplying high-spec, precision-engineered components for quality-driven industries. We're looking for an experienced Welder to join their skilled fabrication team. This role requires a hands-on, detail-focused individual who can deliver high-quality welds to meet the exacting standards set by end customers. If you have experience working with various metals and can work independently to tight tolerances, I'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities: Carry out high-quality TIG and MIG welding on a range of components and materials. Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company SOPs and quality standards. Manufacture precision parts and assemblies using jigs and fixtures, working from technical drawings or production specifications. Prepare and fit components for welding, ensuring accuracy and cleanliness before assembly. Build, weld, and finish assemblies in line with engineering drawings and customer requirements. Perform regular maintenance and housekeeping of welding equipment and work areas. Work to defined production schedules, achieving output and quality targets. Support prototype builds, engineering change work, and continual improvement initiatives. Report fabrication or equipment issues promptly and assist in implementing corrective actions. Carry out any other duties as directed by the Shopfloor Supervisor. What We're Looking For: Proven experience in TIG and/or MIG welding (fabrication and assembly work). Strong understanding of welding standards and best practices. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality and precision. Effective communication skills with good literacy and numeracy. A proactive, flexible team player able to work independently when required. Ability to manage workload and meet tight deadlines. Willingness to work additional hours when needed to support production demands. Must have the right to work in the UK.
