Senior Designer - Poole - Salary 45-55K Bond Williams are looking for a Senior Designer to join a company based in Poole. You will be working closely with the Design team and directly with Customers designing and developing products from initial concept through to final prototypes. Responsibilities: Lead the concept and design development of new ideas. Plan and deliver design projects to meet briefs, ensuring alignment with form, function, quality, and cost targets. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and present solutions for clients. Participate in client meetings and sourcing trips as required. Contribute fresh, innovative ideas throughout all stages of development. Work closely with team members across the business to ensure smooth project execution. Produce compelling visual presentations for clients. Define materials, construction methods, colours, and finishes. Liaise with external partners to leverage existing components, reduce lead times, and accelerate delivery. Skills Required: MA or BA in Industrial or Product Design (essential). Ideally 5+ years' experience in a 3D design-based industry. Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Strong hand-drawing and sketching skills for 2D visualisation. Experienced in 2D and 3D design software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Creo, Rhino, or 3ds Max. Ability to visualise concepts in 3D and create mock-ups. Capable of interpreting technical drawings and translating them for manufacturing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with rendering software, is desirable.
