The Role: Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday Early starts from 04:00am Curtainsider work 1 to 2 deliveries per day Tramping minimum 4 nights out per week (MonThurs) Based out of Leeds, LS11 Pay & Benefits: While agency: 15.50/hr + holiday pay = 17.38/hr When permanent: 16.00/hr Guaranteed 55 hours/week = 880/week 28 days holiday (20 days + 8 bank holidays) What Were Looking For: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 1 year Minimum 1 years driving experience Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements) Must be 23+ (for insurance purposes) Tramping experience preferred For insurance purposes you must have held your C+E Classification for a minimum of 2 years, with no bans or major endorsements (IN, DR, DD) and no more than 6 points showing. You must have 60 days C+E driving experience in the last 6 months. Responsibilities Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and functionality. Deliver goods to specified locations, maintaining schedules and adhering to delivery protocols. Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays.
