Senior Quantity Surveyor Groundworks & Civils ?? Kent-based contractor | Projects across London & the South East ?? Permanent or Contract | Competitive salary or day rate Were recruiting on behalf of a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor with a strong reputation across the South East. Due to continued growth, theyre looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team, managing infrastructure and groundworks packages from pre-contract through to final account. Key Responsibilities: Prepare take-offs and assist with tender reviews Measure works on site and prepare valuations Manage variations, forecasts, and interim applications Monitor budgets and resource allocation Procure and manage subcontractor accounts Support claims and assess commercial risks Maintain internal commercial procedures Candidate Requirements: Essential: Minimum 5 years experience in groundworks and civils Strong contractual and commercial understanding Excellent communication and time management skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Full UK driving licence Desirable: CSCS card Degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering RICS or equivalent membership Whats on Offer: Office base in Kent with travel to sites across London & the Home Counties Permanent or contract engagement Competitive salary or day rate depending on experience Opportunity to work with a respected contractor on high-value infrastructure projects If youre commercially sharp, technically sound, and ready to take ownership of civils packages wed love to hear from you.
