We're on the lookout for skilled and motivated Fibre Installation Engineers to join our growing team. The Role We're seeking motivated Fibre Installation Engineers to help deliver exceptional network builds and installations. Key Responsibilities: Install optical fibre cables into distribution points, enclosures, and patch panels Splice and test fibre connections using Fusion Splicer, OTDR, and ILM tools Diagnose and repair faults quickly on live networks Accurately update as-built documentation and reports Respond to emergency call-outs as part of a rota-based 24/7 team Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve performance targets Follow Health & Safety procedures and best practices at all times What we offer At Truespeed, we value our people and reward them with a great package, including: Life insurance (4x salary) Private healthcare 25 days holiday + bank holidays Pension scheme Access to a full suite of employee benefits covering health (including 24/7 online GP service), lifestyle, and financial wellbeing Ongoing training, development, and opportunities for career progression as we continue to grow The Ideal Candidate We're looking for a skilled engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work. Full UK driving licence (12+ months held) Valid NRSWA Street Works Operative card Strong knowledge of schematics, duct diagrams, and as-builts Proven experience in fibre splicing and OTDR testing Comfortable working at heights and underground Excellent communicator and strong team player Proactive, safety-first mindset. BT PIA and WPD OH35 accreditations (advantageous but not essential) ?
