Key Responsibilities Lead, manage, and support staff to deliver exceptional standards of person-centred care. Ensure the home complies with all relevant legislation, including CQC and Health & Safety regulations. Maintain accurate care plans and records for all residents. Manage budgets, resources, and financial performance of the home. Recruit, train, and develop staff to maintain a motivated and effective team. Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and quality checks. Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external stakeholders. Promote a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for residents and staff. Handle complaints and incidents in a professional and timely manner. Requirements Proven experience as a Care Home Manager, Deputy Manager, or similar role within a care or residential home setting. In-depth understanding of CQC regulations and inspection processes. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it). Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Compassionate and person-centred approach to care. Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively. Desirable Nursing qualification (RGN / RMN) preferred but not essential. Experience managing dementia or elderly care services.
