The ideal candidate will play a key role in leading, mentoring and supporting an experienced team of Cell Operatives who undertake processes for the manufacture of parts on a variety of machine tools in their Machine Shop. We Offer: From 50k to 55k per annum plus 10.28% shift uplift 7 days on and 7 days off 7am to 5pm 9% private pension Subsidised Canteen 4x salary life assurance 25 days holiday plus bank holiday As a CNC Machine Shop Supervisor, you will: Lead, mentor, and support a team of Cell Operatives, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met Allocate work, monitor KPIs, and track departmental performance Manage a team of 72 staff with the assistance of supervisors Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support Lean manufacturing processes Oversee recruitment, appraisals, and employee development Ensure safe working practices and compliance with health & safety regulations What were looking for in aCNC Machine Shop Supervisor Proven experience managing or leading a team in a manufacturing environment, preferably in Aerospace or aviation Must have a stable 5-year career history Machine shop experience Engineering background Strong understanding of KPI development and performance management Must have the ability to read engineering drawings Ability to analyse data, review trends, and drive team performance Familiarity with SAP or other ERP/MRP systems Experience of operating / programming CNC machines and tool setting Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills Interested ?
