Location: Tideswell, Buxton, SK17 8PQ Salary: 14 - 17 per hour + paid overtime (time + 50% or double time depending on shift Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday (7:45am-4:15pm) Extras : 1 per hour when working away, plus paid accommodation & travel Why Work with Us? Join our team and enjoy: Regular overtime at enhanced rates Overnight allowance of 25 per night Company vehicles & paid travel Professional training & qualifications Career progression opportunities Free uniform & PPE On-site parking What Youll Do: Fabricate and weld structural and general steel projects Work both in our workshop and on customer sites Read and work to technical drawings and specifications Ensure high-quality standards and safe working practices Who Were Looking For: We value skill, dedication, and a strong work ethic. Experience is preferred, but training can be provided for the right candidate. Ideal candidates will have: Experience in structural steel or heavy engineering projects Ability to read technical drawings Relevant welding/fabrication qualifications Experience with MIG / MMA welding (TIG desirable) Teamwork skills and the ability to work independently Other suitable backgrounds: Manufacturing Operative, Production Operative, Skilled Operative, Sheet Metal Worker, Fabrication Engineer, Structural Steel Welder, Heavy Engineering Welder.
