Vocational Instructor Teaching/Tutoring Background Location: Exeter Contract: Temporary, Full-time Pay: 22 per hour (PAYE) | 28 per hour (Umbrella) Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting a Vocational Instructor with a strong teaching or tutoring background to join a supportive, trauma-informed educational setting in Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and engage young learners, including those who may be reluctant or have additional needs, and help them achieve their full potential. The Role Working under the guidance of the Head of Education, you will: Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to a wide range of ages and abilities. Build positive, trusting relationships with learners, particularly those who are disengaged. Create a safe, structured, and enjoyable learning environment that supports individual needs. Encourage resilience, self-esteem, and personal development in every learner. Prioritise safeguarding and wellbeing at all times. Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to deliver holistic support. Requirements Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or instructing. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage learners effectively. Knowledge of safeguarding principles for children and young people.
