TheDataCentreEngineeringOperationsTechnician(EOT)isresponsibleforoperatingandmaintainingallelectrical,mechanical,emergencygenerator,andfire/lifesafetyequipmentwithinthedatacentre.TheEOTservesasatechnicalresourcetosupportanumberofdatacentres.Datacentreequipmentthatsupportsmission-criticalserversmustmaintainbetterthan99.999%uptime.EOTsarealsotaskedwithdrivinginnovationwhilereducingoperationalcostsinthefacilities. Keyjobresponsibilities Responsibilities: -Operateandmaintainmechanicalandelectricalequipment -Troubleshootingoffacilityandrack-leveleventswithininternalSLAs -Performlimitedmaintenancetaskstoinclude:filterchanges,HVACPMs,rackpowerinstalls,rackPDU,andrackATSreplacements -ProvidesupporttoDataCentreOperationstechnicians -Performrootcauseanalysisofequipmentfailures -Ensureallsafetyproceduresareadheredtowhileperformingwork -Takedailyoperationalreadingsofallmechanicalandelectricalequipmentthroughroutinerounds/logtaking(temperatures,voltages,currents,etc.) -UtiliseinternalCMMStomanagebuildingworkflowsandsparepartinventory -Supervisecontractorswhoperformservicingorpreventivemaintenance -Respondtooffhouremergencycallsperoncallrotationforanyoneoftheregionssites -Fullycomplywithallphysicalsecurityproceduresandpolicies Safety-Followandmaintainthehighestsafetystandardsanddiligentlyencourageaworld-classsafetyculture.Asafacilityownerteam,ensureremediationofsafetyrisks/issuesinconjunctionwithotherteams.Ownthesafetyinitiativesandprojectstofosterstrongsafetyculture.
