As part of their ongoing investment in workplace wellbeing and staff experience, they are seeking a Commis Chef to join their on-site catering team. This role is ideal for a passionate chef with experience in high-quality food preparation and service who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The Opportunity: You'll join the in-house catering team at the studios staff restaurant, helping deliver fresh, varied meals to employees each day. Youll assist with both breakfast and lunch service, contributing to a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all staff. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily food prep, cooking, service, and clean-up for breakfast and lunch. Work with both traditional and modern recipes to produce a variety of meals, including soups, desserts, and baked goods. Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations (HACCP and in-house systems). Maintain the highest standards of kitchen hygiene and cleanliness. Support junior team members (e.g., Catering Assistants) with their training and development. Help manage stock levels and contribute to smooth kitchen operations. What We're Looking For: Solid knowledge of cooking and baking techniques. Prior experience in a similar role within hospitality or workplace catering. Strong understanding of stock control and kitchen safety regulations. A customer-focused mindset with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Able to work with fresh ingredients and occasionally cook to order. Capable of working under pressure in a busy, creative studio environment.
