We are recruiting a Mechanically Biased Maintenance Technician (approx.?70% mechanical, 30% electrical) to join our onsite maintenance engineering team. This full-time, permanent role operates on rotating 3-shift pattern, maintaining continuous operations in a busy, process-driven manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across moulding, cutting and finishing machinery. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faultsbearings, gearboxes, pneumatics, hydraulics. Carry out basic to intermediate electrical fault finding when needed. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and optimise equipment reliability. Follow strict health & safety, quality and process documentation standards (ISO 9001/14001 compliant). Accurately log maintenance records and assist with continuous improvement initiatives. Candidate Profile Strong mechanical engineering background (apprenticeship or equivalent) with practical hands-on experience. Familiarity with electrical diagnostics beneficial given 30% electrical expectation. Proven experience in a heavy-duty manufacturingmaterials plant advantageous. Capable, diligent, and hard-working Must have own transport to access the site reliably. Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
