Interaction engineering Workshop Plant Fitter Cambridge About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Workshop Plant Fitter to join our client's team. This is a full-time, permanent position based at their well-equipped workshop. The successful candidate will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of plant machinery used across various industries. Key Responsibilities: Carry out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of heavy and light plant equipment in the workshop Fault finding and repair on engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and transmissions Complete inspection reports, job sheets, and other documentation accurately Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards Liaise with parts department and workshop supervisor for parts and job updates Maintain a clean and organised workspace What We're Looking For: Proven experience working with plant or heavy machinery (excavators, telehandlers, dumpers, etc.) Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable but not essential) Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics Good communication and teamwork skills Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Benefits: Competitive hourly rate with overtime available Opportunities for training and career development Supportive team environment Tools and PPE provided INDTE TPBN1_UKTJ
