ROLE: Millier Processing Technician LOCATION: Andover SALARY: Up to 49k depending on experience FULL TIME/ 3 WEEK ROTATING/ PERMANENT As our next Miller Processing Technician you will be able to run the Mill in order to meet Quality , Volume , & and Performance requirements. Key responsibilities include: Safe and efficient operation of the flour mill, including plant start-up and shutdown. Maximising throughput and extraction rates in line with production KPIs. Performing accurate flour and wheat quality checks to meet specifications. Routine mill maintenance to support food safety, quality and operational plans. Cleaning, checking, sampling, and accurate record-keeping of mill activity. Monitoring and managing wheat cleaning, conditioning and feed transfer. Supporting and liaising with the engineering team to maintain plant performance. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and Food Safety procedures at all times. Proactively identifying hazards and maintaining high housekeeping standards. Inspecting and monitoring Critical Control Points (CCPs). Taking responsibility for environmental impact, and reducing waste where possible. Upholding the company's values and standards through teamwork and communication. Key attributes include: Proven experience operating milling equipment in a production environment. A methodical, responsible and safety-conscious approach to work. Strong technical knowledge of milling processes and performance optimisation. Commitment to quality, hygiene and continuous improvement. Ability to follow procedures precisely and keep accurate records. Deliver effective communication and good teamworking skills. Physically fit, reliable and able to work flexibly with production demands. Willingness to learn and develop as part of a progressive team. Looking for stable and long-term employment. Working Pattern 3 Crew shift pattern: 6am-2pm , 2pm-10pm , 10pm-6am , which alternates, operating over 5 days Mon- Fri . Expected to work the hours required to meet the demands of the site. To include Holiday cover on 12hr Shifts for 6 weeks spread over the year. Sick cover (12hrs) to be provided for the first four shifts of sickness . The Next Step.......
