Rigid HGV Class 2 Driver (ADR Preferred) Location : Wolverhampton, WV13 area 14.00 per hour + Overtime + Bonuses Monday to Friday | Day Shifts | Flexible Start Times (4:006:00 AM) Bonus: 250 after 2 weeks work About the Role: Smart Solutions is hiring on behalf of our client for a committed and safety-conscious Rigid HGV Class 2 Driver to join their hazardous waste collection team. This role involves nationwide driving, manual handling, and occasional overnight stays. Key Responsibilities: Operate rigid Class 2 HGV vehicles for hazardous waste bin collection and delivery Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks Follow planned collection routes across the UK Carry out manual handling tasks (handballing involved) Maintain professional, customer-focused communication Occasionally stay out overnight (13 nights/week) What Were Looking For: Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card ADR Certificate (preferred training available if not held) Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight Strong initiative, punctuality, and customer service focus Pay & Benefits: Hourly Rate: 14.00 Overtime: 21.00/hour (after 45 hours) Typical Week Gross Pay: 840 924 (5055 hrs/week before bonuses) Daily Bonuses: 10.00 Early Start Bonus (before 4:30 AM) 3.00 Daily Meal Allowance Total Bonus Potential: 65/week Night Work Allowance: 26.50 per night Paid Breaks: 1 hour per day Uniform & PPE provided Training Opportunities: Including ADR certification How to Apply: Ready to hit the road?
