HGV Class 2 Driver Dustcart Collection Job location: Crawley RH11 Pay rate: 16.72 per hour, weekly pay every Friday Schedule: Monday- Friday | 7am- 4pm Job type: Full-Time, Ongoing Industry: Waste & Recycling Smart Solutions Recruitment is currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client - a national leader in the waste and recycling industry . The role is based at their Crawley depot (RH11), and offers consistent hours, great pay, and an immediate start. Duties and Responsibilities Drive and operate a Class 2 refuse collection vehicle (dustcart) Collect and empty food waste bins from residential and commercial locations Work independently as a one-person team Carry out daily vehicle safety checks Maintain professional and courteous service while on route Safely navigate busy roads and narrow streets Perform some manual handling/lifting of bins when required Requirements Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 90 days of recent Class 2 driving experience within the last 6 months Dustcart experience not required as full training will be provided Good verbal and written English skills High regard for safety , professionalism, and customer service Experience in waste and recycling is preferred but not essential Benefits Immediate start available Guaranteed 40 hours per week Competitive pay rate at 16.72/hour Regular Monday to Friday schedule no weekends Overtime opportunities available Dedicated support from your Smart Solutions Account Manager A stable role with a nationally recognised waste management company Apply Now If you're an experienced Class 2 Driver looking for reliable, ongoing work in the Crawley area apply now and one of the Smart Solutions team will be in touch to discuss the next steps.
