Job DescriptionOverview: Working alongside our client, an established injection moulding manufacturer, we are looking for two experienced Injection Moulding Technicians to join their team and support continued business growth.Remit: This position will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Technician with strong mould processing, machinery, tooling and materials knowledgeThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking company, the successful candidate will be given extensive training and development opportunities via Sierra 57 Consults Mould Training division to receive accredited CPD IOM3 standard training Role: As Injection Moulding Technician you will be required to perform mould set ups and changes in an efficient manner according to the production scheduleResponsible for moulding machine set up including ancillary equipment as related to the moulding processProcess moulding parameters to achieve quality parts and optimized cycle timesUse troubleshooting skills to improve and develop repeatable moulding processesAssist the maintenance department within this process on technical issues as they ariseSupport and complete tool trialsExperience Requirements:Previous mould setting & optimisation experience within injection moulding manufacturing is ESSENTIALExperience of process problem solving within an injection moulding environmentIndustry recognised injection moulding qualification would be an advantageBasic level of Numeracy and Literacy is requiredGood communication skillsStrong attention to detailPositive can-do attitudeKey Words: Mould Technician, Injection Moulding Technician, Mould Process Technician, Injection Moulding Setter, Plastics, Injection MouldingFOOTERDue to the sheer volume of applications we receive we will only contact successful applications that meet the requirements of our client job brief.
