Job DescriptionPrint FinisherWorking for a local government program, to provide technical support and day to day support to workers, with a range of abilities and occupational needs, in a print/print finishing environment.Job ResponsibilitiesTo deliver Print finishing, customer support, typographic design, reprographics and bench workingTo support the development of members of a supported industry workforceTo assist in developing work within the business and manage business workflowTo assess and record any highlighted changes if needed by staffTo assist in the writing and development of support/progression plans with individualsTo always work to safeguard the needs of vulnerable adultsTo positively work with the team to plan and implement changes by proactively responding to an ever-changing environmentSupport and comply with internal/external audit requirements and processesUndertake necessary health and safety trainingSupport the line manager in the delivery of good health and safety practice and the minimising of risksEnsure safety events (accidents, incidents and near misses) are reported with a view to preventing a recurrenceSkills & ExperienceGood numeracy and literacy skills, including IT skillsExperience of working in a print or related industryBe able to support others to learn and succeedAble to work independently, positive team memberWilling to undertake training and personal development and to engage in meetingsAn understanding of health and safety practice in the workplaceAble to support people in a work environmentUnderstanding of current Health & Safety at Work legislationFull driving licenseInterested please contact Graeme at Vibe Recruit on 07971 309403 or apply immediatelyVibe Recruit is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.JBRP1_UKTJ
