Job DescriptionElectrical EngineerThe CompanyA leader in the design and manufacture of bespoke machinery and supporting systems.The RoleThis hands-on role focuses on complete machine wiring, functional testing, and assistance with general electrical works around the site. The position is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of electrical systems and a practical, solutions-based mindset.The work will include the following:Wire and connect complete electrical systems across machinery, including sensors, motors, actuators, and interconnectsCarry out functional testing, I/O checks, and basic fault-finding prior to commissioning phaseAssist in verifying signal paths and validating safe operation before software upload or HMI integrationRead and work from electrical schematics, layout drawingsSupport electrical installation tasks around the factory, including lighting circuits, distribution boards, and equipment upgradesAssist in new machinery installations and electrical improvement projects within production areasCollaborate with other departments during machine build, including routing, alignment, and system integration activitiesThe CandidateTo apply for this role, you must1. Solid background in machine wiring or industrial electrical assembly2. Skilled in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring documentation3. Confident in identifying and resolving electrical faults during build and test4. Recognised qualifications such as 18th Edition or equivalent - Advantageous5.
