Our client, a global software company based in Glasgow, is seeking a Data Protection Lawyer (2–3 PQE) to join its growing software business on a permanent basis.The role reports directly to senior leadership and offers a genuine pathway to a future GC position, with exposure to senior stakeholders and PE investors.What You’ll Be Doing:Advising the business on all aspects of data protection and privacy compliance, including GDPR and international data transfer issuesDrafting, reviewing, and negotiating SaaS agreements, software licensing arrangements, and wider commercial contractsAdvising on data storage, security, and risk management practices, ensuring policies and procedures meet regulatory requirementsSupporting the business on compliance matters, data subject rights requests, and liaising with external advisers where neededWorking closely with senior stakeholders, with exposure to PE investors, and involvement in strategic growth initiativesWhat Are They Looking For?E&W qualified lawyer (2–3 PQE) with strong data protection and commercial contracts experienceExperience working in the technology/SaaS sector is highly desirable, but not essentialStrong communicator, confident advising senior stakeholders directlyAble to work independently and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentIdeally available at short noticeWhat’s On Offer?Competitive SalaryFlexible WorkingLeading experience with a leading software organisationIf you are interested, please send your CV to
