Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Graphics/Studio Operator at our East Kilbride facility. The Operator will be responsible for producing & processing graphics files in preparation for output & print.Downloading files from emails/FTP sitesArtwork/Repro creation of files, PDF creationCreating print ready filesTo ensure all files are complete and ready for printing according to printer specificationsChecking, amending and pre-flighting artworkOffer technical advice to ensure all artwork is achievable within print production constraintsWorking to tight deadlines to ensure customer satisfactionLiaising with production/technical/team.Requirements:Experience creating technical artwork and repro filesPrevious experience working within packaging and labels - particularly within FMCGAdobe Creative Suite skills specifically IllustratorESKO experienceExperience with Filemaker - advantageousFull and comprehensive understanding of Digital/Combination print a must.Experience of the print industry and processes i.e. flexo and digitalAny software/development knowledge of Hybrid Solutions/EskoSalary: DOELocation: East Kilbride
