Position: Quantity Surveyor (M&E) Brand New Division Salary: DOE + car allowance, fuel card, generous bonus + exceptional staff benefits Are you an ambitious, financially savvy Quantity Surveyor (M&E) looking for a new challenge? This is an exciting opportunity to join a brand new Mechanical & Electrical division within one of the UKs fastest-growing property services contractors. Our client has a turnover of nearly 250m and ambitious growth plans to double in size. They are now building a new M&E division to deliver projects including electrical upgrades, new boiler installations, solar PV installations, and air source heat pumps . This role is perfect for a Quantity Surveyor with Mechanical & Electrical experience who wants to be part of a start-up division but with the stability and backing of a well-established national business. Key Responsibilities: Manage all commercial and financial aspects of M&E projects including electrical upgrades, boiler installations, solar PV and renewable energy systems. Prepare, negotiate and analyse costs for tenders, contracts and variations. Ensure projects are delivered on budget, identifying risks and opportunities to maximise profitability. Produce accurate forecasting, valuations and financial reporting. Work closely with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure successful delivery. Contribute to the setup of systems, processes and commercial frameworks in this new Mechanical & Electrical division . Knowledge & Experience: Proven track record as a Quantity Surveyor (M&E) or Building Services Quantity Surveyor . Strong financial and commercial awareness with excellent cost control skills. Experience in projects such as electrical upgrades, new boiler installations, solar PV and air source heat pumps is highly desirable. Excellent knowledge of contracts, procurement and tendering in M&E projects . Ambitious, proactive, and motivated to progress with a new division.
