The hospital is set in its own attractive grounds of over nine acres, which supports an amazing horticulture programme and grants access to an idyllic countryside landscape, which, by its very nature, promotes wellbeing. You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living. As part of our team, youll help people reach their potential, through both practical and emotional support, making a positive difference to their lives.Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal carePerforming light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothesAssisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individualsAssistance and support to attend medical appointmentsObserve, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staffSupporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teamsEncouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growthWhat you''ll bring to the roleOur work is rewarding but can be challenging, so resilience is key.
