We have a new opportunity for a Design Manager to join a privately owned real estate company overseeing a high-profile portfolio of commercial and residential assets in central London. With a senior design lead transitioning to Singapore, this role offers the chance to act as the eyes and ears of the business on the ground — supporting the London office with technical coordination, consultant liaison, and design delivery across an exciting range of projects.This is an ideal next step for a technically strong architectural professional or coordinator ready to step client-side. You’ll be working across listed buildings, new-build residential schemes, and a planned hotel development - all part of a long-term, design-led property strategy backed by a well-resourced family office.The role will involve:Supporting the Design Lead with day-to-day delivery and consultant coordinationManaging incoming design and technical information across live projectsReviewing drawings, specifications, and reports to ensure alignment with client objectivesActing as liaison between the London office, project teams, and the wider property groupOverseeing project programmes and flagging risks or delaysAttending design meetings, site visits, and tracking progress on the groundSupporting the delivery of a new 124-unit residential-led development, hotel planning, and refurbishments within a listed estateCoordinating with property management, planning consultants, and internal stakeholdersWe’re looking for someone who:Comes from an architecture or technical background with strong delivery knowledgeHas experience working on UK residential or commercial projectsUnderstands the nuances of working with listed buildings and heritage constraintsCan confidently read drawings, specifications and flag risks or issues proactivelyHas excellent organisational skills and is comfortable juggling multiple projectsEnjoys working in a small team and taking ownership of their workIdeally has some experience in property management or developer-side coordinationWhat’s on offer:Salary dependent on experienceOn-site parking availableA collaborative and close-knit team cultureOpportunity to take ownership and grow within the businessDirect exposure to high-quality projects and senior decision-makersHow to apply:Send your CV to ssidar@ to be considered or apply.
