Location:Ilkeston, Cookstown or Snodland with regular UK site travelRole SummaryHere at Enisca Browne our people are central to everything we do and at this time we are seeking to recruit a dynamic and results driven Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.We deliver projects across the whole of the UK and Ireland therefore we are open to considering candidates within commutable distance to either our Ilkeston or Cookstown offices with the flexibility for regular travel to our sites. Some key responsibilities for the role:Taking ownership of a number of projects from tender handover to final accountBudget management and driving cost awareness within the operations teamsCashflow 'sales forecastingMonthly payments (Applications, certification etc.)Cost/value reportingAssess and raise required sub-contract certificates as requiredBudget management including procurement of sub-contractors and preparation of contract documentsReview and negotiate contract/sub-contract T&C’sAttendance at both internal and external meetingsPromote safe working practices within commercial functionMentor and develop junior commercial and project delivery team personnelLiaison with other departments and carrying out other duties as required.Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post Personal AttributesDegree Qualified in a relevant subjectMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar roleThe ability to work autonomously to tight deadlinesProficient IT Skills, with a strong working knowledge of Excel and Word as a minimumEffective communication skills including the ability to give presentations/reports to all levels including external stakeholdersStrong commercial acumen including demonstratable experience in preparation of detailed cost reports & forecastsStrong negotiation skillsProficient in the management and administration of NEC3/4 contractsWater Industry MEICA experience preferred but not essential In ReturnClear and structured progression opportunitiesIndustry leading salary and benefits packageCompany car allowanceFlexible working33 days annual leave (including bank holidays)Private medical insurance (option to extend to family cover)Group pension schemeLife insurance & income protection scheme2 x days paid volunteering per yearMedicash schemeSalary sacrifice car scheme
