Area Director (Care and Support)Location: Midlands Based (Flexibility for the right candidate) - Mainly home-basedSalary: £90K + Car Allowance + Competitive bonus + BenefitsWe are working on behalf of an established organisation to appoint an Area Director (Care and Support). This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact across a large and complex portfolio of services, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and support for young people.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Providing strategic leadership and direction to a team of Residential Operations Managers.Embedding a culture that places positive outcomes for young people at the heart of all services.Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and operational excellence in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.Driving service development, innovation and continuous improvement to achieve growth and sustainability.Building effective relationships with local authorities, commissioners and regulators, ensuring contractual obligations are met and new opportunities identified.Leading on workforce development, talent retention and succession planning, supported by robust people management practices.Overseeing budgets, performance targets and KPIs to ensure financial and operational objectives are achieved.Key requirements include:Proven experience in a senior leadership role within care and support services, ideally in an Ofsted-regulated environment.Strong track record of managing people, budgets and resources to deliver measurable outcomes.Knowledge and experience of setting up new services and projects within a regulated framework.Ability to foster positive relationships with commissioners, local authorities and external stakeholders.Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.Values-led leadership with a commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and operational excellence.This is a high-profile role for a driven and experienced leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for young people while maintaining strong governance, compliance and financial performance.If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please apply with your CV.
