Sales Trainer – Recruitment AgencyBillericay - Onsite£45-70k - Part-Time 3-4 days or Full-Time 5 daysWe are seeking an experienced Sales Trainer to join a specialist recruitment business based in Billericay. This role offers flexibility (full-time or part-time) and the chance to work closely with consultants and leadership to drive performance, capability, and long-term sales success.The role:This is a hands-on training and coaching role, suited to someone who started their career in recruitment - ideally within the contract or interim space - and has since transitioned into Learning & Development or Sales Training. You’ll work side by side with consultants on the desk, deliver structured training, and ensure sales processes are embedded and consistently applied across the business.Key responsibilities:On-the-job coaching and call coaching with consultantsProviding at-desk support to reinforce best practiceDelivering and maintaining classroom training programmesLeading role plays and assessments to strengthen sales capabilityEnsuring effective use of CRM systems and sales processesCoaching to close performance gaps at individual and team levelAnalysing performance data to identify skills gaps and reporting findings to SLTPartnering with the Sales Director to align training with business objectivesWhat we’re looking for:Previous background as a recruiter (contract/interim preferred)Experience in sales training or L&D, ideally within a recruitment or sales-driven environmentStrong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to influence consultants at all levelsConfident delivering training both in structured settings and one-to-one at deskCommercially minded with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insightsWhat’s on offer:Flexible working pattern: full-time (5 days) or part-time (3–4 days per week)Opportunity to work closely with the Sales Director and play a pivotal role in consultant performance and business growthA role where your recruitment experience and training expertise will directly shape the success of the team
