Commercial UnderwriterLocation: Hybrid – Braintree, Essex 'surrounding region (regular broker visits + office-based meetings)We’re recruiting for a highly respected, long-established MGA looking for a Commercial Underwriter to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong underwriting experience who thrives on building broker relationships and delivering high-quality service across a diverse portfolio.The RoleYou’ll be responsible for underwriting both new and renewal business across a varied product suite, including:Commercial CombinedProperty OwnersRetail PackagePrimary & Excess LiabilityContract WorksContractors’ Plant & EquipmentDay-to-day, you’ll develop and manage relationships with your broker panel, support new business growth, and ensure renewal retention targets are met.
