Position: Real Estate Finance ParalegalLocation: FarringdonDepartment: Real Estate / Banking & FinanceSalary: £30k - £45kOverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Real Estate Finance Paralegal to join our busy Real Estate team. The successful candidate will support fee earners on a range of real estate finance transactions, acting for lenders, borrowers, investors and developers.This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong interest in property law and finance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with the management of real estate finance transactions from instruction through to post-completion.Drafting and reviewing standard documentation, including security documents, board minutes, certificates and ancillary documents.Conducting property due diligence, including reviewing title documents, leases, searches and replies to enquiries.Liaising with clients, counterparties, lenders and third parties to progress matters efficiently.Managing conditions precedent checklists and transaction timetables.Preparing Land Registry applications and Companies House filings.Supporting the completion process, including collating signature pages, preparing completion bibles and carrying out post-completion registrations.Maintaining accurate file records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and professional regulations.Skills & ExperiencePrevious paralegal experience in real estate, banking or finance law is desirable.Strong academic background, ideally with an undergraduate law degree or equivalent qualification.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Strong drafting and legal research skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and legal research databases.
