Maintaining this high standard is central to our success, which is why we are now seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer to join our team.The RoleThe Compliance Officer will support our recruitment team by ensuring that all candidates and processes adhere to the highest compliance standards. This is a vital role that helps us maintain our industry-leading status and deliver exceptional service to our clients and candidates.Key ResponsibilitiesVerify candidate identification documentsComplete and process DBS checksConduct and support face-to-face interviewsManage occupational health clearancesReview CVs and verify employment history (including checking gaps)Request and validate referencesHandle and verify Home Office documents for authenticityMaintain accurate records using our in-house database and external portalsEnsure all documents are up to date and renewals are processed promptlyWork from compliance reports to prevent lapses in documentationSupport both internal and external auditsManage booking confirmationsProvide professional telephone support and communicationSkills & Attributes (Essential)Strong eye for detail and accuracyExcellent computer literacy and data entry skillsProfessional and confident telephone mannerReliable, punctual, and highly organisedResilient, persistent, and able to work under pressureTarget-driven with the ability to meet deadlinesProcess-driven with a methodical approachStrong interpersonal skills, able to build positive working relationshipsWorking HoursMonday to Friday: 08:30 – 17:30Package & BenefitsHolidays: 21 days annual leave plus bank holidaysPension: Enrolment into the People’s Pension after 3 monthsProbationary Period: 6 monthsPerks:Free gym membership at The Village Hotel20% discount at Village Hotels’ bar & grill and room bookingsFree onsite parkingThis role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, who thrives in a structured environment and wants to contribute to the ongoing success of a leading medical recruitment agency.
