Loom Talent are delighted to be supporting with the appointment of a Transport Manager - Dual Site, covering locations in Heathrow and Essex. Our client is a well-known distributor of FMCG with a vast network across the UK. You will work a day shift, Monday to Friday and will spread your time across the two sites. As Transport Manager - Dual Site, you will be supporting the operational activities of a busy team with responsibilities across people management, compliance, and H&S.Ensuring all drivers are carrying out their duties in a safe and timely manner and in line with company policiesDaily people management duties such as recruitment, training, rotas, holidays, and sicknessVehicle and route planningEnsuring that the team delivers the highest levels of customer serviceCorrect reporting of incidents, accidents and vehicles defectsOngoing support to the senior management team with continuous improvement and operational efficiencies Candidates wishing to be considered should meet the following requirements:Knowledge and understanding of transport and vehicle compliance - EssentialPrevious experience managing drivers - EssentialAbility to travel between Heathrow and Essex locations - EssentialA committed and positive approach to work - EssentialUpon your appointment to the role of Transport Manager - Dual Site, you will receive competitive salary in the region of £40,000 + Company Vehicle and Bonus.
