The role offers a fast-paced environment with a real opportunity to make an impact and be involved in the next phase of our growth from start-up to scale-up.The Role: Managing the portfolio and data flow for both internal and external stakeholdersImproving our Business Intelligence by developing in SQL and PythonAnalysing and visualizing data in QuickSightCollaborating with stakeholders to understand business goals and translate them into data servicesTechnical sign-off of communications and regulatory documentsFocus on models and quantitative supportAnalysis to support improvements to mortgage products, processes and criteria, including market research and data analysis/modellingWe are looking for: 2 to 5 years' experience in a data roleDegree-educated or equivalent, preferably in statistics, mathematics, or computer scienceAnalytical skills – data, numeracy/modelling and quantitative analysisOrganised and motivated with deep attention to detailSQL, basic skills are a mustProficiency in Amazon QuickSight or other dashboard toolingEnthusiasm for problem-solving and taking ownership of challenging technical problemsStrong people skills, building relationships with team members and stakeholdersBasic knowledge of financial markets and mortgages is a plusFirst and foremost, we are looking for an ambitious self-starter who wants a varied role in sales, analysis and relationship management in capital markets. You’ll work hand-in-hand with experts in mortgages to shape the April proposition for customers and investors.
