Our client, a leading city based derivatives-based asset manager seek an experienced Fund Sales Associate/Manager to join their UK Discretionary Sales TeamThe firm have a hybrid working model and offer innovative investment solutions across multi-strategy and derivatives-driven funds and work with discretionary fund managers (DFMs), platforms, and wealth managers to deliver differentiated outcomes for clientsCandidate ProfileA proactive Sales professional with experience in fund distribution. This individual will support the Head of UK DFM Sales in covering the London client base, while also taking ownership of the Channel Islands territory (Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man). The role requires a strong grasp of derivatives-based strategies and the ability to engage with DFMs, consolidators, and MPS providers.**It is essential you have experience from a similar derivatives-based investment strategy firm**Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head of UK DFM Sales in managing existing relationships across the London client base.Generate and manage own sales pipeline across DFMs, consolidators, and model portfolio services (MPS).Deliver fund sales presentations, conduct client meetings, and represent the firm at industry events.Work closely with marketing, investment, and product teams to ensure alignment in messaging and client engagement.Track and report on client activity, pipeline development, and sales performance.Essential Experience Minimum of 2+ years’ fund sales experience (ideally wholesale / DFM distribution).Understanding of derivatives-based investment strategies.Proactive, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial with the ability to build new business.Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging with sophisticated investors.Experience at a derivatives-driven managerExisting relationships within the UK DFM and consolidator community.Familiarity with Channel Islands financial ecosystem.Business development mindset with ability to originate and close new relationships.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and geographies.Collaborative, team-oriented approach but comfortable working independently.Commercially astute with an understanding of fund structures and distribution channels.
