Full-time, Permanent Basingstoke (Hybrid) 50,000 - 55,000 Reassured are looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to help us build and maintain a secure, high-performing IT environment that keeps the business running smoothly. If you''re a hands-on problem solver with a passion for infrastructure, security and mentoring others, this is a brilliant opportunity to lead from the front and shape the future of our IT services.As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, youll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining our core infrastructure across cloud and on-prem environments. Youll work closely with other engineers and stakeholders to deliver robust, secure and scalable solutions, while mentoring junior team members and driving best practice across the board. What you''ll be doing: Designing and deploying LANs, WANs and wireless networks including servers, routers and switches Maintaining cloud-based solutions across Azure, AWS and Microsoft 365 Monitoring network and system performance to ensure uptime and continuity Implementing security by design and managing firewalls, VPNs and endpoint protection Leading infrastructure projects and mentoring other engineers Supporting users remotely and across satellite offices What we''re looking for: Strong system administration skills (Windows, Linux, PowerShell or Bash) Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, InTune and Exchange Solid networking experience including VLANs, SD-WAN, QoS and firewalls Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills A proactive mindset with a passion for technology and innovation Bonus points for: Experience with Watchguard firewalls, VoIP systems and SIP phones Familiarity with PRTG monitoring, Aruba switches and Infrastructure as Code Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Access and Mobile Device Management Ready to take the lead in shaping our infrastructure?
