Job Title: Workshop Technician Business Unit: Connectors Employing Entity: OTAQ Connectors LimitedLocation: Cross Lane, Ulverston, LA12 9DQReports to: Production ManagerKey Interactions (Internally): Supervisor, Engineering DeptPurpose The purpose of the role is to support the Connector department in the Production, Testing and Manufacture of the product range ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the preparation, manufacture and any testing of products produced.Responsible for the quality of products manufactured.Detailed wiring (soldering) and polyurethane moulding.Be a point of contact for status of production in work in progress Inspect and maintain tooling and equipment as far as possible Update all necessary job cards, as built drawings as requiredEffective management of all stock movementsPerform the manufacture of products in-line with the production schedule.Work within the Health & Safety framework and promote a positive H&S culture.Liaise with internal stakeholders as required Contribute to the positive development of OTAQ, its processs and procedures Work experience preferred, however full training will be given.The candidate would need to be well organised, meticulous and able to work as part of a team.
