This is an exciting opportunity for an AAT qualified Semi Senior Accountant with experience in practice to join our team in Cheltenham. Clients like to see us and we like to see them too so this is a full-time office-based role.What will you be doingYou will have responsibility for a portfolio of clients and your responsibilities will include:Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companiesPreparation of VAT, corporation and personal tax returnsPreparation of Management AccountsAdvising and resolving queries for clients in a timely mannerWork alongside Senior AccountantsWhat youll needThe position will be considered on a full or part-time basis and will suit someone currently AAT qualified or equivalent and looking to complete a Chartered Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or suitably qualified by experience.Personable character, able to communicate well with others and strong work ethicA self-starter who can solve problem and spot opportunitiesOnline Accounting software experience (essential), Xero (preferred)Three Years UK based accountancy practice experienceStrong IT skills using Microsoft OfficeExcellent organisation and administrative skillsAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesGreat attention to detailFlexible, motivated and a pro-active team member, who can make a positive impact to the practiceWhat we can offerIn return youll be offered a competitive salary depending on experience, plus study support, with additional benefits such as onsite parking, company pension, 25 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays.
