Maintenance Technician - FMCG / ManufacturingPeterboroughAre you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, highly automated production environment?We're a leading UK manufacturer within the FMCG sector, operating some of the most technically advanced facilities in the industry. Our sites run 24/7, and we pride ourselves on high standards of safety, reliability, and innovation.The RoleWorking as part of a dedicated engineering team, you'll play a key role in keeping production running smoothly and efficiently. You'll plan and coordinate daily maintenance tasks, respond quickly to breakdowns, and use your technical expertise to help reduce downtime and improve performance.Key Responsibilities:Plan and coordinate daily work with the maintenance teamSupport production through a call-out rota (1 week in 4)Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectivelyConduct risk assessments before maintenance tasksMinimise downtime by responding quickly to breakdownsMaintain accurate maintenance records and documentationContribute to site safety targets and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking For:Core electrical qualification and 5+ years' relevant experienceStrong mechanical skills and PLC/process control experienceFMCG or manufacturing backgroundSkilled in prioritising tasks and managing time effectivelyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsExperience with CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management Systems)Full UK driving licenceIf you're proactive, adaptable, and ready to make a difference in a dynamic manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.Apply now to find out more!JBRP1_UKTJ
