CNC MACHINIST - MILLING OR TURNING - SETTER / OPERATORWe are currently recruiting for CNC Miller / Turner - setter/operators - Fanuc ControlsA family run business which was established in 1971. Providing subcontract CNC machining services to a number of industries including Oil & Gas, Automotive, Electronic and Nuclear to name a few.Location -Stonehouse (GL10)Hours - Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 4:30pm Fri - 8:30am - 3:30pmOvertime - Consistently available paid at time + a third.All CNC Machines are Fanuc controlled. Setter/Operator - will be expected to make adjustments and edit the programs.Key ResponsibilitiesSet, and operate CNC turning or milling machinery using Fanuc controls.Manufacture high-specification components to exact tolerances for demanding applications.Interpret detailed engineering drawings and specifications.Maintain exceptional standards of precision, quality, and cleanliness.Conduct routine maintenance and assist in efficient machine utilisation.Work collaboratively to meet production targets in a fast-paced environment.Experience & SkillsMinimum of 2 years' experience operating CNC turning/milling machinery within a high-precision manufacturing environment.Proficient in Fanuc controls.Skilled in working to tight tolerances across a range of materials.Strong problem-solving skills with a quality-focused mindset.Proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently.Strong mechanical knowledge, including familiarity with hand tools and machining processes.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.JBRP1_UKTJ
