JN Technical is seeking a skilled Estimator with proven expertise in the architectural metalwork industry to join a leading national fabricator. This role offers the opportunity to work on prestigious Tier 2 projects, delivering accurate and competitive cost estimates across bespoke balustrades, staircases, canopies, faades and other architectural features.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation to produce precise cost estimates for architectural metalwork packages.Perform detailed material take-offs and prepare competitive bids tailored to project requirements.Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, architects, and clients to confirm pricing, finishes and technical details.Ensure all estimates align with UK building regulations, design standards and company quality expectations.Monitor market trends, material costs, and specialist fabrication methods to maintain competitive advantage.Skills & QualificationsStrong knowledge of UK architectural metalwork standards, materials and finishes.Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office tools.Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.Proven experience delivering accurate bids for bespoke metalwork projects, from design-led features to large-scale architectural packages.This is a key role within a growing organisation, offering the chance to directly influence the successful delivery of high-profile architectural projects across the UK.JBRP1_UKTJ
