Chef Education Activity Centre Hindhead, Surrey31.5k per annum plus company benefits27.5K per annum live onsite option The OpportunityA rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Chef to oversee a busy kitchen at an activity centre for young children and adults. The RoleYou will be a key member of the catering team to ensure that the catering operations runs smoothly and efficiently during breakfast, lunch and dinner times. You will prepare, cook and serve food, always adhering to procedures. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, temperature checks and allergy management.The role is working 5 days out of 7 42 hours per week overtime availableShift patterns will either be 5.30am 1.30pm or 1.30pm 8.30pmThe ideal applicantWe are looking for an experienced chef from a high-volume background, with some experience managing or supervising working within a busy environment. An enhanced DBS check is required.We would welcome candidates from the MOD, Contract Catering, large Event and Wedding venues, large busy pub chains and hold the following qualificationsLevel 3 Food Safety and allergen managementCity & Guilds 706 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalentManagement qualifications and proven experience of coaching and mentoring your teamJBRP1_UKTJ
