Mechanic Location: Braintree Salary: Up to 35,000 basic per annum + bonus & overtime OTE 40K+ Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am 6:00 pm Alternate Saturdays, 8:30 am 1:00 pm Reference: 28275 We are working with a respected main dealer in Braintree that is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanicto join their busy team. Youll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models to the highest standards, using the latest diagnostic tools and repair techniques.Mechanic Benefits:Basic salary up to 35,000 per annum (depending on experience)1,500 annual bonus paid in November6,000 quarterly bonus paid in advanceNote: This quarterly bonus is subject to adjustment if there is excessive sickness during the quarter already paid for.Overall earnings:Level 3 Mechanic and MOT Tester:36,000 per annumLevel 3Mechanic (non-MOT):35,000 per annumAdditional individual bonus based on hours soldPaid overtime and excellent productivity incentivesOngoing training and supportCareer development and internal progression opportunitiesMechanic Key Responsibilities:Diagnose and repair faults in engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systemsCarry out routine maintenance, servicing, and safety checksUse diagnostic equipment and software to identify complex issues efficientlyRecord all work completed and parts used accuratelyCommunicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding required workMaintain a clean, safe, and organised working environmentKeep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and best practicesWhat We're Looking For:NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and RepairMinimum 1 year of experience as a technicianProficient with diagnostic tools and softwareStrong technical and mechanical skillsGreat communication and a team-focused attitudeFull UK driving licence All applications will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
