Job Title: Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP)Location: LincolnContract Type: Locum (6 months)Start Date: 6th OctoberWorking Hours: 12:00 20:00 (MondayFriday, flexibility may be required)Role SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our healthcare team in Lincoln for a 6-month placement. The successful candidate will work independently within a primary care setting, managing a caseload of patients presenting with minor illness and providing safe, evidence-based prescribing in line with clinical guidelines.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with minor illnesses.Provide safe and effective independent prescribing within scope of practice.Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with national and local clinical guidelines.Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records.Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and wider healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.Act as an autonomous practitioner while knowing when to escalate or seek senior input.Contribute to maintaining a safe, supportive, and patient-focused environment.RequirementsRegistered Nurse / Paramedic / Pharmacist / Allied Health Professional with MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent experience).Current HCPC/NMC/GPhC registration.Independent Prescriber qualification (V300).Proven experience managing minor illness in primary care or urgent care.Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Contract DetailsDuration: 6 months (with potential for extension).Hours: 12:00 20:00, Monday to Friday.Start Date: 6th October.Location: Lincoln.Competitive locum rates offered (dependent on experience).JBRP1_UKTJ
