About The RoleWe are looking to recruit a Frontline Services Advisor to join our friendly Frontline team within the Student and Library Services Directorate. It is a busy and varied role and provides information and advice to students covering any aspect of student life and referral to support services, as well as first line information to staff and students about Library resources. These services are delivered through the Student Helpdesks at Penryn & Falmouth campus, as well as online. You will be responsible for managing and responding to incoming enquiries across a range of channels, providing information, advice and referral to subject specialists where required. You will have an understanding of the issues affecting students in higher education and experience of having worked in a customer service role. You will have excellent communication skills, good problem solving skills and experience of providing effective advice and signposting. Knowledge of referral within a complex environment is a key to success within the role, along with a desire to help in the continual enhancement and development of the service.
